Israel Exploration Table

We must share and live our story, and that begins with learning it. We are invited to embrace this opportunity. View Source Sheets The Israel Exploration Table returns for a new season — a bi-weekly Saturday afternoon series led by Rabbi Rosenthal, gathering to explore the history, texts, and ideas at the heart of the modern Jewish and Israeli story. The new season opens where the modern story begins: with Theodor Herzl's foundational Zionist text, The Jewish State (Der Judenstaat), published in 1896. Written in the shadow of the Dreyfus Affair, Herzl's pamphlet reframed the "Jewish Question" as a political problem demanding a political solution — a remarkable document that remains practical, visionary, and deeply relevant to the questions we wrestle with today. Each session moves through the text together with plenty of room for lively discussion. Advance reading is welcome but never required. Bring your questions, your perspectives, and a friend.
